This article proposes a Technology Review Matrix to help advisors and tutors assess the relationship between their advising goals with students and the technologies they use. The Matrix will serve as a tool to assist in organizing this review and frame a more profound conversation among interested parties. The key stakeholders' interpretation of the matrix result is critical. This activity will aid in a more thoughtful gap analysis of current usage and a more intentional adoption of new technologies.
