About the Journal

Waypoint is an online, open-access journal hosted by UKAT that is focused on student advising practice and research in Europe.

Our goal is to foster a collaborative community of staff and students around personal tutoring and advising, particularly within European universities and tertiary education institutions. We encourage contributions that:
- Connect research, models, theories, and reflections with practical applications.
- Showcase innovative and pedagogic approaches to sharing information.
- Facilitate discussions and build a collaborative community.

Waypoint accepts a broad range of practice-based contributions that link the scholarship and practice of personal tutoring/ academic advising by connecting practice to research, models, theories, and reflections.

Based in the UK, Waypoint welcomes perspectives from across the world.
